Jaze Jones (21), who gave Britain its first Olympic gold medal in taekwondo, will turn into a fighter.

She also emerged as an icon of taekwondo by winning the gold medal in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2016. However, she was eliminated in the first round at the 2020 Tokyo and 2024 Paris Olympics.

Jones started learning Taekwondo at the age of eight by his grandfather's introduction. It was because of his grandfather's recommendation that it is good for both body and mind.

Jones, whose nickname is "headhunter," is a strong kicker, told AFP recently, "Taekwon is my first love. I will love Taekwondo forever."

"The martial arts (boxing) will be an interesting challenge. I'm excited to be able to test myself in a different game than Taekwondo," he said.
